As you reach Town Hall 10 base, you get access to inferno tower, which is a signature defense of TH10 war base. It can deal high damage with long range and even can be set for multi or single mode.
For troops, you get access to the miners and bowlers which empower ground base strategies.
You also get clone spell and Skeleton spell at TH10 war base. In clan castle you are able to take siege machine, which can be used in many ways.
Siege Machine helps in strategizing your attacks more effectively.
Special strategy: ZAPQUAKE-(USE OF LIGHTING + EARTHQUAKE) used to destroy AIR Defences and mainly for Air attacks.
With ZapQuake if timed properly you can take down any TH10 war base. Also you may use GOLEM, WITCH and BOWLER for ground attacks where you may use heal and rage spell.

The strength of your Base layout at th10 is basically determined by the position of inferno towers, Hidden Tesla, X-bows and Heroes.

Base layout: The main objective is to protect the TH10 base so that there is no way of getting 2 stars.
Town hall 10 located at the center of the base with Hidden Tesla surrounding it along with clan castle, should give the attacker added difficulty.
Heroes are kept nearer to the clan castle so that they all work as a team. Inferno tower is set in such a way that the town hall 10 falls within its defence range.

Town hall 10 is kept either outside or at one corner of the base as the main focus of this base layout is to just protect the loot and not your trophies.
All defences are set around storage’s to give them max protection. Traps are also set around Dark Elixir storage. Dark Elixir should be one of the hardest things to get.
Special strategy: Use miners with queen charge as it is one the most powerful farming strategy at Town hall 10.
Also, you get to master the legendary tactic of Queen Walk. This way you are practicing for war and hybrid attack, which is almost the same as mass miner attack.

Base layout: It’s a combination of farming and war base where some of the mines and storage’s are kept outside and some are kept in the core.
Same goes for the defences so that neither all loot is easily available nor all the defenses can be easily targeted.
Town hall 10 base, Dark Elixir storage and CC are kept at the center of the base with Hidden Tesla around it. Inferno tower is kept between center and closest storage’s.
The X-bow is also kept in similar position as inferno tower to protect storage’s. Heroes are kept at two different places (distance apart) to distract enemies.
Special strategy: Use mass baby dragon with queen charge, where queen charge into the base and baby dragon get outside buildings.
Even if queen gets down, you can still get loot and a star.
COC TH10 Trophy Base Layout | Best COC TH 10 Trophy Base
Base layout: Design of trophy base is same that of a war base. Like, all mines and storage’s are kept at the edge of the base while defences are located at the core.
Inferno towers are kept at two other corners with walls surrounding it at 3-4 tiles from each other. X-bow is located just between center and corner to give support to the damage dealing defenses.
Wizard tower and air defenses are kept together at different locations of the base. Cannon, mortar and archer tower are spread over the base to give maximum damage to the incoming enemy troops.
The only position of town hall, heroes, and CC is changed. Town hall and Hidden Tesla are kept in the center of the base to defend the town hall 10, Hidden Tesla protecting the Town hall 10 war base from getting destroyed.
Heroes and CC are kept in one corner of the base to distract enemy troops and prevent them going towards the center, easily.
While enemy troops damage Heroes and CC they too take damage from other defences, making them weaker when they reach the center of the base.
Making the center defences job to wipe out the troops easy.
Note: This base is used by those players who had already maxed out their base and who just want to increase their trophy to get into a higher league.
Best TH10 War Base Design | Town Hall 10 War Base
Base layout: All mines and storage’s are kept at the edge of the base while defences are located at the core.
Town hall 10 and Hidden Tesla are kept in one corner of the base so that it can create problem for siege Machine.
Inferno towers are kept at two other corners with walls surrounding it at 3-4 tiles from each other.
Heroes, CC are kept at the center of the base so as to distract enemy troop towards the center so that while attacking them all other defenses can strike them out.
X-bow is located just between center and corner so as to give support to the damage dealing defences.
Wizard tower and air defenses are kept together at different locations of the base. Cannon, mortar and archer tower are placed in such way that it gives damage to initial incoming troops and to make the enemy troops weaker by the time they reach the core of the base.
Special tip: At Town hall 10, ground attack is mostly favored as miners and bowlers become available.
Hence number of ground strategy attack on your base increases. You can, therefore set your x-bow to ground mode, which will be a better idea.
X bow in ground mode give you extra range of defence, but can prove fatal to your base if you are attacked by air troops.
